The overall look of this Dark Priest Top and Skirt from Savage Wear makes me laugh a little, but I’m sure this outfit would feel cool to wear. I think the pale skin and colour coordinated hair and platform shoes just makes it look like this priest is worrying a little too much about his appearances and not enough about eating puppies, casting curses and doing whatever else a dark priest is supposed to do.
This is a pretty cool long jacket/trench coat. Usually trench coats are used to hide the latex outfit one is wearing underneath, but in this case it lays all the latex out to show. Of course, this jacket reminds me of the Matrix movies, which I loved as an angst riddled young man. I remember being very excited by the fetish club scene where Morpheus, Trinity and Seraph go to meet the Merovingian. I think the Matrix movies triggered the kinky side of many people (I was already curious by that point), though the scene depicted is probably not very realistic. I guess I haven’t been to many fetish parties, but rubber and sharp, pointy bits don’t mix well. I imagine most rubberists would stay far away from a fellow dressed with metal spikes, much less grind with them in a sweaty night club.
This photo is from the Catalyst Latex website but it’s hard to tell what’s going on with all the angst clouding the picture. It looks like he’s wearing a slim fit cardigan and with the yoke polo shirt. Both items look nice and I would probably buy both, given more monetary units. Overall, I like this fellow’s look but didn’t have much luck finding more about him on the Darkslide photography website.
I should mention that Catalyst Latex specializes in chlorinated rubber, which is rubber that has been treated with a base (i.e.bleach) and an acid (i.e.vinegar) to change the surface of the rubber such that is it smooth and easy to put on without lube or talc! Very cool!
